We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment. We operate a recycled waste management system which also includes recycling of spares and parts for use on our response repairs services. We have recently renewed all of our fleet to the latest low emission technology in order to further reduce our impact on the environment. We recognise that a responsive repairs service can impact on the environment, in terms of emissions, more dramatically than ‘fixed site’ projects. We operate a ‘reduced repairs mile’ policy, which is essentially based on smarter planning and scheduling of repairs orders received. We also promote the use of as many environmentally friendly elements as possible throughout our projects, including LED lighting.
FPM continues to work closely with our supply chain partners, to reduce our environmental impact through ethical sourcing of materials and robust assessment of our supplier’s environmental policies.
